Branch Manager – HOCHLAND FRESH

Woermann Brock invites applications from proven retail leaders with a consistent track record in managing large-format stores and delivering sustained business results. This is a high-impact leadership role with full accountability for branch performance.

Scope: Lead a high-volume retail operation with full accountability.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Full ownership of branch performance (sales, costs, profitability)
  • Leadership of multi-level teams in a high-pressure environment
  • Driving operational standards, stock control, and shrinkage management

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 (Old curriculum) or Grade 11 (New curriculum) with retail experience
  • Grade 12 AS levels (New curriculum) essential
  • Proven success in Mathematics (minimum grade 4 or D) and English (minimum grade 3 or C)
  • Accounting success is an added advantage
  • Tertiary business qualification (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Retail Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, BCom in Business Management/Commerce/Marketing) will be an added advantage

Experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years in retail/business management, of which at least 3 years were at upper middle-management level
  • Proven track record in managing express or supermarket clusters
  • Extended exposure to MS Office (especially Excel) is essential
  • Exposure to Business Information Analysis tools is an added advantage
  • Experienced in engaging with high LSM customers.
