VACANCY: BAKER

OVERALL AIM AND SUMMARY OF JOB

The effective provision of specialty baked products that are continuously available to customers and supplied according to orders and the required standards we take pride in crafting delicious, high-quality baked goods. We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team and help create delightful treats for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and desserts.
• Follow recipes and adjust for quality and consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the baking area.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Ensure attractive display and packaging of the products.
• Develop and test new recipes and take cognizance of cost implications, effectiveness and profitability.
• Prepare orders according to approved needs of the branch.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely product delivery.
• Store stock hygienically and safely.
• Clean machines, equipment, fridges, work areas storeroom and freezer according to hygiene requirements and standards

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years working experience
• Previous baking experience preferred, formal training an added advantage.
• Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
