Ensure that the business is grown through efficient and effective stock takes, financial management, correct administration and adherence to policies and procedures.

ย ย ย CASH AND POINTS OF SALE
- Implement and enforce, maintain and monitor compliance to all cash, cash handling, interventions and point of sale policies and procedures, within all the regions.
- Ensue all support service banks queries are attended to in a timely manner by regional teams and branches.
- Ensure appropriate control over regional petty cashes, through ensuring adherence to petty cash policies and procedures.
STOCK
- Review and approve regional plan on full branch stock takes in co-ordination with Executive Operations (EO).
- Monitor and enforce compliance to stock count plan.
- Verify and enforce stock count preparations and performance in accordance with procedures.
- Review investigations on discrepancies in terms of deviations and implement corrective action.
- Review, investigate and take corrective action on all scheduled and catalogue counts compliance and count results:
- Claims in transit โ must be counted once per week.
ย ย ย SHRINKAGE AND WASTE
- Continuously monitor and analyze shrinkage and waste results.
- Analyze and approve quarterly waste and shrinkage action plans.
- Monitor and enforce shrinkage and waste management controls policies and procedures by regional teams.
- In conjunction with Executive Finance (EF) lead monthly admin and expense meetings (Income statements)
ย ย ย ADMINISTRATION
- On a quarterly basis review full branch compliance audit and enforce corrective action.
- Ensure all matters relating to GRN and government agencies (e.g. fitness certificates, liquor licenses, etc.) are attended to.
- In collaboration with EF ensure preparation of annual expense budget by regional teams and branches.
- Ensure insurance claims or possible claims are reported, investigated and documents sent to support service in a timely manner.
ย ย ย RECEIVING AND RETURN CLAIMS
- ย Enforce, maintain and monitor compliance to receiving, claims and storerooms policies and procedures by regional teams and branches.
ย ย ย HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORT
- Ensure regional teams and branches comply with the documentation and administration as per policy and HR procedure pertaining to recruitment, termination, transfers, health and safety, training, remuneration, etc.
ย ย ย GENERAL AND AD HOC
- Attend to any reasonable request made by Executive Management, Directors or Shareholders.
- ย Report and where possible handle cases of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage or contravention of regulations
ย ย JOB AND PERSON SPECIFICATIONSย
ย ย ย Qualifications
- Grade 12 with mathematics and accounting.
- A relevant business management qualification will be an added advantage.
ย ย ย Experience
- Relevant experience in a similar trading environment of approximately 5 years.
- Extended exposure to financial reporting documentation.
