About the Role
Woermann Brock is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead sales operations, drive growth, and ensure exceptional customer service. This is a high-impact leadership role with full accountability for sales performance and team success.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
· Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team
· Monitor market trends and competitor activity
· Strengthen customer relationships and deliver outstanding service
· Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts
Qualifications
· Grade 12 (Old curriculum) or Grade 11 (New curriculum) with retail experience
· Grade 12 AS levels (New curriculum) essential
· Proven success in Mathematics (minimum grade 4 or D) and English (minimum grade 3 or C)
· Accounting success is an added advantage
· Tertiary business qualification (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Retail Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, BCom in Business Management/Commerce/Marketing) will be an added advantage
Experience
· Minimum 5–8 years in retail/business management, of which at least 3 years were at upper middle-management level
· Proven track record in managing express or supermarket clusters
· Extended exposure to MS Office (especially Excel) is essential
· Exposure to Business Information Analysis tools is an added advantage
· Experienced in engaging with high LSM customers.
